Frank J. Abella III ("Jay") is Vice President of Investment Partners Group, President of Investment Partners Capital and Management, and a Portfolio Manager in Investment Partners Asset Management.

He graduated from Middlebury College in 1989 with a degree in Biochemistry, and in 1994 earned an advanced degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina.

Jay began his professional career as a project administrator with Parexel International Corporation and later joined Quintiles Transnational as a Drug Development Consultant.

Throughout his career, in product development for eight years and in the investment industry for more than seven years, he has analyzed many mature and development stage companies, especially in the life sciences area. He joined Investment Partners in 1998.
