Frank J. Abella, Jr. is the President and CEO of Investment Partners Group and directs all advisory and consulting activities.

With Bachelor's and Master's degrees in science from Stevens Institute of Technology, Frank began his professional career as a development engineer with the Linde Division of Union Carbide. He left briefly to pursue a graduate degree at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College; and upon graduation he returned to Linde in their Multinational Strategic Planning Division.

In 1969 he entered the investment community as a portfolio manager. Through the 1980s and early 1990s he oversaw a number of venture-capital and business-development efforts and in 1995 he formed Investment Partners Asset Management. Frank is a past member of the Board of Emerging Company Marketplace of the American Stock Exchange.
